photo and web editing in Photoshop and ImageReady.

Course Outline
Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and its advanced Web graphics component,
Adobe ImageReady 2.0, share common
commands, tools, palettes, and keyboard shortcuts for a more
efficient workflow. If you're familiar with Photoshop,
you'll get up to speed quickly with ImageReady. In this course
you will save files in common web formats and
optimize them for quick downloads. You will use the powerof layers
to create rollovers, image maps and web animations. Finally,
you will batch process graphics for your web pages
Prerequisites
Because of the amount of material we cover in class, we do require
students to be comfortable using a mouse, opening
and saving files, and the general operations of computers. While
we will make every reasonable effort to help, students
with insufficient skills may be required to observe the class
lessons or do their best to keep up without slowing down
the rest of the class. We highly recommend working with the application
tutorial before coming to the course.

plus $40.00 for materials.
Time
Class time is 9:00 a.m.- 4:00/4:30 p.m.
Breaks are scheduled throughout the day and lunch is typically
scheduled 12-1. Students provide their own lunch.
